Each year, our FOP 70 Legislative Committee visits Capitol Hill in Washington, DC to participate in FOP Day on the Hill. For 10 years we have participated in this important event with Legislative Chair Mike Shier and we have had results!   This year will be no different...

Actually, it will be very different.  We will attend a briefing by the FOP National President and meet with every Maryland Congressional and Senatorial Office to discuss the National Lodge’s legislative agenda via ZOOM.  We believe this year will be as sucessful as ever provided we all have good connections with our connections.

These meetings were of great value to our officers and to our elected officials and we should all be glad we have members who volunteer their time to make sure that the message to elected officials is not lost in translation, but provided with face to face discussions about what we expect from them and what they can expect from us in return.
