Facility Rental Information

We are pleased to offer our hall and facilites to community groups and individuals at extremely competitive rates.

General Guidelines
  • We reserve the right to refuse to rent to any group or individual that in our sole opinion would reflect badly on our organization.
  • Since FOP 70's lodge is primarily for the benefit of it's members, official functions take presidence.
  • No unlawful activity is permitted on the premises.
  • If alcohol is served or consumed during the event, the renter must obtain a “one-day” license from the Anne Arundel County Liquor Board (click to go to their web site for details or their phone number is 410-222-1148).
  • $125 security and cleaning deposit required. This is refunded if the lodge is cleaned properly.
  • Renters must obtain insurance that protects the renter and FOP 70 in the amount of one million dollars for personal injury liability and one hundred thousand dollars for damage liability during the event. This type of coverage is common and available through most insurance agents for a nominal fee.
  • Renters must sign a standard contract for the rental that outlines the terms of the rental and obligations and responsibilities of the renter.
  • Reservations are not confirmed until the contract is signed, insurance policy is obtained and rental fees fully paid.
  • Cancellations must be made at least seven (7) days prior to the event to receive a refund.
  • Rates are subject to change.  Contact the lodge for further information.
 
LODGE HALL RENTAL PRICE SCHEDULE (EFFECTIVE 10/01/12)
Hall Rental (FOP 70 Associate Members) $90.00/hour (4 hour minimum)
Hall Rental (Non-profit Organizations) $90.00/hour (4 hour minimum)
Hall Rental (Private Individuals/Organizations)  $100.00/hour (4 hour minimum)
Use of Commercial Kitchen
The standard rental includes use of the ice machine, microwave oven, and refrigerator. This package allows use of the additional appliances, such as oven, stove ect.

Includes projection screen and/or LCD projector.

Hall Security Deposit
Hall Security Deposit is fully refunded if renter satisfactorily cleans the hall per the provided instructions.  If the renter does not wish to clean the hall, the deposit will be forfeited.

Availability/Rental Application

If our facility meets your needs, lets get the process started. Follow the simple steps below to get your reservations confirmed.

  1. Read the terms and conditions indicated above.
  2. Fill out the rental application by clicking on the button below. Reserve early because prime dates fill quickly. Our facility is very popular because of its location and great rates.
  3. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your application.
  4. Our staff will review your application and confirm that your dates are available.
  5. You will receive an email within a few business days confirming your dates and the rental amount. The email will provide you with an online credit card payment option or an option to mail in a check. We do not accept credit card payments by mail. You will also receive a copy of the rental contract which needs to be signed and returned with the other documents in the subsequent steps. This MUST be received at the lodge at least 7 days before the event.
  6. Once you are notified that your dates are available by email, obtain the event insurance policy, as indicated above, with the agent of your choice. This type of policy is common and should not be expensive. A copy of this policy is required to be received at the lodge at least 7 days before the event.
  7. Obtain a liquor license, if applicable, from the Liquor Board, as indicated above. This should be done as soon as possible to ensure it is completed prior to the event. This license is not expensive, but does require several steps to complete, including a signature from an FOP representative. A copy of the license must be received at the lodge 7 days before the event if alcohol will be served.
  8. It is important to note that all documents and payment must be received at the lodge before your event booking is confirmed. Until your dates are confirmed by completeing these steps, the dates are still available to others. Don't be disappointed - book early !
